Pricing
Priced per school. Never per seat.
Charging by enrollment would punish the schools doing the thing this model is for—filling seats. So we don’t. One price, one school, every grade.
Deliberately below the line where a purchase needs a board vote. If the model finds one under-enrolled room, it has paid for itself several times over.

What happens next
Getting started should feel like a conversation, not an implementation project.
Not a sequence. Usually the same day.
We walk through your grades, tuition, aid, staffing, and capacity.
Most schools are looking at their own economics in that first session.
How does getting started actually work?
You send the email. We reply—a person, not a sequence—and set up a short call to walk through your grades, tuition tiers, aid, and capacity. Most schools are looking at their own numbers in the first session.
What counts as one school?
One set of books. If you run PK–12 on a single budget with one head of school, that is one school—however many divisions or buildings it spans.
Do we need to connect our SIS?
No. You can enter grades, tuition tiers, and aid by hand in a few short minutes. SIS import is there for networks and for schools that would rather not retype a master schedule.
Is there a learning curve?
Chalkline was built to get you right into answering the questions that matter for your school - in a school's language.
Can consultants use Chalkline?
Absolutely. Chalkline is built to assist the enrollment team and anyone working with the school on revenue planning. Contact us directly to learn more about our consulting packages.
